Smoky Quartz

Smokey Quartz is known for it’s brown to black color. It gets it’s color from exposure to radiation in nature. Smokey Quartz is the state gemstone of New Hampshire.

Quartz is the second most common mineral in the Earth’s Crust and it can be found exhibiting perfectly clear crystals or it can possess one of many of colors including blue, green, or pink.
