Yellow Jasper
Jasper is an opaque form of Chalcedony. Chalcedony is a term that is used to describe a wide variety of quartz. Other forms of Chalcedony include Agate, Bloodstone, Carnelian, and Chrysoprase.
Jasper occurs in many colors including Brown, Green, Red, and Yellow as shown above.
Because of it’s beauty when cut and polished, Jasper is commonly used to make jewelry.
