This Emerald Mining kit is a great educational hands on activity for kids. Gemstone mining! All you need is a sifter or colander (sold separately) and water. All bags come with an educational brochure to identify your gems and fossils. You can also see where they can be found around the world.
In addition, Emerald Bag includes over a half pound of emeralds, gems, pyrite and a crystal point.

Good assortment of rose quartz, agate, pyrite, carnelian, quartz, arrowhead, smoky quartz, red jasper, adventurine and gold mica to name a few.
Decent haul for the price. Large and small rocks and crystals. Be sure to sift through it carefully, a lot of wonderful, small gems are within the sand!
